Cyntoia Brown, who was repeatedly raped as a child might be getting the justice she has longed for.

Celebrities through their social media platforms, are joining the campaign train to free Brown.

Recall that Brown was convicted of murder after killing a man, who has repeatedly raped her when she was 16. And since 2004, she has been in jail serving her life in prison sentence.

A picture depicting Brown’s dark days, when she suffered repeated rape in the sex-trafficking world, already sets the media on fire. And celebrities like – Kim Kardashian, Rihanna and T.I. have joined the campaign to free Brown as they shared the picture on their social media pages.

In a documentary, Daniel Birman, a filmmaker said, “Imagine at the age of 16 being sex-trafficked by a pimp named “cut-throat,” Birman continues, “After days of being repeatedly drugged and raped by different men, you were purchased by a 43-year-old child predator who took you to his home to use you for sex. You end up finding enough courage to fight back and shoot and kill him.“

Birman further revealed how Brown suffered physical, sexual and verbal abuse for years.

“We started the conversation (with Brown being) a young girl who’s at the tail end of three generations of violence against women,” he told Tennessee’s Fox17 Nashville. “She had no chance.“
