Almost 12 years after Oscar Winner Angelina Jolie adopted 6 months old Ethiopian baby Zahara as a single mother, Zahara’s alleged biological mother 31-year-old Mentewab Dawit Lebiso speaks out in an interview with Daily Mail saying she would like to reconnect with her daughter.
Mentewab says “I just want her to know that I am alive and here and long to be able to speak with her. I do not want my daughter back but just to be in contact with her and be able to call her up and talk with her.”

Mentewab also acknowledged that Angelina Jolie has been a good mother and would like her to have full custody of Zahara following Angelina’s split with her estranged husband, Brad Pit.
