There was a mild drama at Windsor House Academy, after the school authorities imposed a code of conduct policy on its female students.
The private school in Kempton Park, however ask some 20 black girls who were on braids to go home, alleging it’s against the school’s code of conduct.
Prior to the implementation of the policy, there has been outrage on social media as parents and students accuse the school principal of racism.
In a bid to manage the crisis at hand, Gauteng education authorities, directed the school to suspend all of its policies for the next three months. And pending the time of suspension, the school management and five pupil representatives have been obliged to prepare a new policy.
