Maryland Police Department has launched an investigation into a TikTok viral video showing a Prince George’s County officer on-duty kissing a woman on the street before both entered into the backseat of his squad car.
“As soon as we became aware earlier today, we opened an investigation to determine the circumstances,” PGPD tweeted Tuesday. “Additional information will be released once investigated and confirmed”
The video first shows the pair kissing as the woman touches the officer’s head. The woman then heads to the back of the car, with the officer’s arm around her.
She opens the door before getting in, with the officer joining her.
The footage was originally posted to TikTok on Monday night and has been watched more than two million times.
