The legendary R&B group Boyz II Men got the section of South Broad Street from Christian to Carpenter streets in Philadelphia named after them, a month after the City Council passed the resolution to name the section of the street after them.
Nathan Morris, Wayna Morris and Shawn Stockman were joined by Councilmen Kenyatta Johnson and Mark Squilla who sponsored the resolution, in front of the Philadelphia High School for the Creative and Performing Arts for the unveiling of the Boyz II Men Boulevard signage.
The Boyz II Men group members once attended the Philadelphia High school for the Creative and Performing Arts.
