35-year-old Zambian student, Edward Makayi is now in police custody after publishing defamatory statements against President Edgar Lungu and other government officials.
The male student of DMI St Eugene University, takes to Facebook in the name of Royson Edwards M., humiliating the country’s president and other top officials.
Confirming Edward’s arrest, police spokesperson, Esther Mwata Katongo said the accused also ridicules members of the ruling Patriotic Front, and will remain in custody till he appears before court on Thursday.
